Vintage Clarity Challenge

Good Morning All!!

I hope you are enjoying a lovely lazy Sunday morning??

Well I guess summer is over? 1st of September and kids are back at school this week. (bound to have a heatwave again now!)I will be off to enroll on my college Art and Spanish Courses this week and am even thinking about doing a GCSE in Psychology......we will see if the brain still works!!!

Meanwhile over in the world of Clarity, 1st September means a brand new challenge over at the Claritystamp Challenge BLOG

Thank you so much for all the FABBY entries last month - they were awesome! Well done producing such fantastic work everyone!
Tying to choose my favourites proved a real challenge!!

So this month it's ....VINTAGE......

I love vintage style but don't Get to play nearly often enough!! I wanted to keep this Pretty though and took inspiration from the Fabulously talented Emma Williams I am always in awe of the way she uses colour in such a striking way.

This project started life as a tag that had been lying on my desk for ages that had mopped up ink in the past. I then built up the layers with the masking, stamping and embossing before adding the texture with torn. The main image is embossed and water coloured.

The background is stamped in a faux watercolour style simply ink up your image with Distress Ink and then lightly spritz with water before stamping. It adds a lovely softness to your images.

On this project I used the following products the Trellis maskFleur de LysThe Leafy Swirls and The Sketched Lady

So it's time to get your thinking cap on!!!
Check out all the other wonderful projects by the rest of the Clarity Challenge DT HERE

Good Luck - can't wait to see what you all come up with!!

Crafty Cheers for now :-)

Love

Rae
