Happy Wednesday Everyone !!
Thought I would drop by with the first of several posts using my new Darkroom Door goodies.
I had a couple of hours spare over the weekend so I wanted some quick and easy CAS cards to bolster my own heavily depleted stash of cards !!! I was almost at the point of committing the cardinal sin of having to go out and BUY cards !!!! Criminal lol.....
For this set of cards I dug out my much depleted stock of Pan Pastels. I have to be honest I am not the world's biggest fan of this medium (Hence why I sold most of mine off!!) But for these flashes of colour they are perfect.
For these projects I used the following stamp sets Wilderness Vol 2; Montmarte and the Orchids. I source mine from the lovely Kim Humphreys (email her at info@thecraftytalbot.co.uk and she will happily help you)
I just used waste from die cutting and general crafting to mask off the shapes for the latter two cards
I am looking forward to seeing what people create with the new metallic Pan pastels - maybe they will be the thing to really win me over - ya can't beat a touch of sparkle!! lol
Well I hope these brighten your day and even inspire you a little
I am off to play with some more Christmas ideas - I may even allow myself to post one or two now it's September.....!!! Ha ha
Enjoy the rest of your day :-)
I will be back tomorrow with a tutorial for a super easy booklet card - until then take care
Crafty Cheers for now
Love
Rae
