Hallllllooooooooo!!
Well I promised a super easy Tutorial and here it is - a folded booklet card :-)
This is a super- easy card but I think really effective and it can be made with ANY size square - an 8 in square fits a 4 in envelope, a 10 into a 5 and a 12 in goes into a 6 so its easy to post as well! Brucie Bonus!
All it takes is 3 folds (warning the next bit is a tad heavy on pics :-) )
You need to make 3 simple folds into the square as above.......n that as they say is that!! Literally :-)
I find that heavyweight Scrapbook papers are the best for this as normal card is a little to thick to fold comfy but play around and see what works for you!!
Once you have made the folds, simply pull the 2 pointed corners together and fold flat
Ta dah!! That's it - now decorate anyway you like :-)
I chose to play with some of my new stamps on this one - JOYF from PaperArtsy. In the original I used The Ice skaters mask from Splodgeaway available HERE.
I water coloured my images with Distress markers, having stamped in Archival Fern Green ( a permanent ink Archival/Stayz on is vital when watercolouring or I would clear emboss distress/adirondak's)
Then simply add the panels - remembering to affix the ribbon BEFORE adding the panel's front and back (he he - made that mistake once or twice!!
And here is the finished article!!
I hope you like it and I hope you found the tutorial useful!!
Thanks for taking the time to stop by :-)
Crafty cheers for now
Love Rae
