Nature's inspiration with Chocolate Baroque......

Howdy doody??

I am on a roll this week lol :-)

Creative juices are working overtime - though finding what I need in the Craft Lab is still challenging me lol!

Inspiration for today's offerings comes from all the beautiful Cherry Blossoms and Apple blossoms in the village just now - I adore the delicate nature of them.....

The stamps are from the wonderful Essence of Nature set ( yes again!! ;-) lol) from Chocolate Baroque - available HERE

This time I have simply decorated them with Cosmic Shimmer Pearl drops available HERE

This second sample uses the fabby Wink of Stella pens (Pink) from Zig (grab 'em from Hobby Art HERE)  which I used to colour the background card and to stamp with before edging with Shaded Lilac distress ink for that spring colour theme.

Once all that was done I ran the whole image though the Ebosser in the Hexagonal embossing folder (HERE) for extra interest :-)

I hope you like today's offerings - it would be lovely to know what you think - so please feel free to leave a comment below

Right off to have brekkie and do some more creative experimentation......have a good day!!!

Jofy and a little Alcohol.......

Good evening all!

Well I have been rather blown away by all your kind comments on my Facebook page when I posted this earlier.

So I have decided to add it to my blog and fill you in with some details.

The background is an acetate overlay created using Spectrim Noir Alcohol pens CG3, OR3 and GB6 scribbled down and then flicked with blending solution.

This was then mounted over a piece of cardstock coloured with the Lin Brown Circles Stencil

I stamped my images in Archival Potting Soil - heat embossing with clear embossing powder before colouring with the same alcohol markers and then assembling the card :-)

Over at Simons Monday Blog their challenge is all about Mellow Yellow - perfect timing so I will enter. Check it out they have some great challenges

Thanks so much for stopping by

Make a wish with Crafter's.......

Happy Weekend everyone :-)
So good when it's only been a short working week isn't it?

This evening I'd like to share one of my samples from my Crafter's Companion demo days.....

This sample uses the Make a Wish Embossalicious 6 x 6 folder (available HERE) with Versamark and white embossing powder.

The background is from a Dylusions Masterboard - I often make up masterboards, normally A4, with mopped up inks, sprays, paints, alcohol ink, masks and off cuts. They are great starting points for lots of different projects.

This was then mounted onto cardstock that has been coloured to co-ordinate using Spectrum Noir pen's - in this case BT4, CG3 and DR6.

The flower embellie is from Sheena's a Taste of India range - Henna (HERE)

I hope you have good plan's for the weekend? I have a little crafty shopping on the cards tomorrow and then some playing/working for the rest of the weekend.

Thanks a lot for taking the time to stop by :-)

Take care

Tim Holtz Tag time....

Good morning everyone :-)

Hope it is as nice a day with you as it is here in Cheshire!

Just stopping by with a quick post this morning as I have a Doc's appt and then magazine work to be on with.

Today I am sharing this Tim Holtz tag I made for a lovely swap group I belong too...

Our theme was Male so I took my Dad as inspiration, incorporating some of what he meant to me.

This tag used the works, embossing folders, dies, stamps (my signed set that I won from AFTH ;-) ), acrylic paint, ink gilding wax, enamalling and the tissue technique plus the embellies

Don't forget my little tag challenge - you can enter HERE

Thanks for taking the time to stop by.....

Have a great Thursday :-)

Tag Tuesday.......and a new challenge launch

Good Morning All!!!!

How was your Easter Weekend? Hope you had a lovely time?
I had a great time in Anglesey demoing for Cratfers Companion on Saturday and then a couple of chillax days with friends.

I have been making quite a few tags recently for swap groups and because I love having tags as a technique/image reference library.

The tag above uses some more of my Ally Pally stash - This gorgeous ornate butterfly stamp and the word is part of a sentiment stamp both from INKYLICIOUS

This second tag is a more clean line one using washi tapes and a lovely Joy stamp I picked up from my friend Hazel's lovely shop in Rugby, DRAGONS PAPERCRAFT

So I started thinking I would like to run a stamping tag challenge for you all every fortnight.......beginning today

To start us off I thought we could go with the theme of ANYTHING GOES, so all you need to do is create a tag of your choice !! Any colour, style, stamp - let you're freedom go wild.

To enter you need to add a link to your entry below (directly to your entry NOT to your blog).
Entries will close at 23.59 GMT on Sunday 4th May and a winner will be selected at random and announced on the next Tag challenge Tues 6th may.

Hope you decide to join in this bit of fun - I love seeing all you're work :-)

Right I best get off and prep for my class for next Weds - there are still places left if you would like to join me - just PM via facebook or email raedalal@yahoo.co.uk
