Happy 50th from Ireland....and exciting news!!!!

Good evening from Blog world!!

It's been SUCH an exciting week here at Fairefox towers!! 

Many of you will have seen the news that I have added Crafter's Companion to my Demonstrator portfolio - and I am not hanging around. I am out on the road with them just next SAT 29th. I will post all the details on my FB page at the beginning of next week. I hope to see you out and about really soon!

Anyway tonight it's a commission for a friend's 50th birthday today - he's from a huge Irish family and they all have a roadsign of their hometown - So I used that as the basis......

Now for the second piece of EXCITING NEWS - it's been a while coming BUT.....

I have been invited to start teaching classes at not 1, but 2 fabulous craft shops in Cheshire (and there are more ongoing discussions so watch this space!!) AND I will also be starting back with my own classes too!!

I will have more details available next week so keep checking back :-D 

I can't wait! I LOVE getting out and teaching so it's fantastic to get back to it - I really hope you will come along and join me on this next phase!!

Darkroom Door......for the record!!

Good morning all - happy Sunday!!

Today I thought I would drop by with the second of the birthday cards for my two besties! This one uses the Darkroom Door Record and sentiment stamp - which I absolutely love!! Repeat stamped in Archival Viridian and Pale Ochre. A nice non too complicated card.........yet it still took 45 mins for me to pick the right ribbon!! tshhhhhhh

Crafty Individuals and a little Splodging.......

Yay it is Friday!!! Happy weekend!!!

I am currently away from home and PRAYING Princess stroppy pants is behaving!!

Little Diva!!

Anyway I digress!! Yesterday 2 out of 3 of my bestest buddy's shared the same birthday - I sure know how to pick em eh!! lol

Anyway here is one of the makes for them.....

This card uses the Zebra Doodle and African masks from Splodge (Available here) to create the background. to create the layers I covered a piece of card in a mix of distress inks and then placed the zebra mask on top before wiping over with a damp baby wipe to remove the ink through the design. Then the African mask was partially placed on top and then inked through.

The stamps are from the On Safari A6 set by the lovely Jean at Crafty Individuals (available here) and I just love them - perfect for a bestie that is besotted with the Hefelumps :-)

Hello Baby......

Happy Hump day my friends :-)

Here I am with what is rapidly becoming a regular Wednesday date!!

It's been a busy few days here at Fairefox towers mainly involving getting very dirty, cleaned out and then very painty!!

 Nothing much in the way of crafty art - this was all about getting the garden sorted in this glorious weather. It's been absolutely fantastic hasn't it! Wall to wall sunshine n 18 on the thermo!!  

Anyway we had a new baby boy on the street yesterday so I got busy making this....

Its a mix of First Edition papers and Darkroom Door stamps - nothing too taxin!

I have lots of work to finish on the house before I can get back to craft in earnest!!

A Redesign and a Centenary!!

Well hello Blogworld!!!

How are you? There's been rather a lot on here at FaireFox towers hence my extended absence....

It became apparent that my "make do" craft office was no longer workin.......so i stripped the whole thing out 'n' toddled of to the wonderful (heavy sarcasm!) IKEAland for a solution!! 9 hrs and several trips later I had all I needed......2 days flat pack building (good job I love it LOL!!!!) and 3 days re stashing n its back!!!

So pleased.....apart from I need a booster cushion for my seat LOL due to the raised desk.....Short arse I am!!!

Ha anyway in amidst all this I had an order for 3 cards for a Centenarian - how fantastic!!!

The first one was adapted from a Pinterest card I saw - I just loved it - perfect layout....

The second one was from his great grandsons..... n boys will be boys with their toys eh??

Then this one finished the set up - vintage style.....

.....using Tim and Paperartsy!!
