St David's day and spring is on its way.....Journal HeART 15 - Week 9

Good evening all.

Welcome to week 9 - this one is a nice easy one - a break from all the panic of the last few weeks :-)

Sunday sees the arrival of March and with it St David's day so take it as your inspiration and create a page with a spring like feel....

....for my page I used part of a Sheena flower stamp heat embossed for my take on daffodils before I coloured them and the background with Spectrum Aquas. The dragon is another from Sweet Poppy Stencils and was stencilied in black paint - the image is not entirely clean because of the page reacting to water but I like it that way.

The quotes are all from Dylan Thomas - one of my favourite poets.

So there you have it - let's see what we can come up with this week! If you want you can use one of the quotes as your page theme or a quote from any of your favourite welsh character......what's occurrin'.......

Playtime from Leigh, Sincerely Yours

Good afternoon Bloggers!!

Hope you are all enjoying a pleasant Sunday afternoon :-)

Yesterday was Day 1 of my local Craft show, Sincerely Yours @ Leigh so I popped along to see what was what n catch up with folks

Was lovely to catch up with Tracy, Martine and Neet @ Oysterstamp n I picked up a few bits including some Brushos to add with my Luminarte pigments so this morning I had a play...

Adding in some of my Visible Image stamps to make this little card :-)

I also had a lovely meet up with Della n Dai from the Craft Bug, Oswestry - hope to bring you some exciting news on that front soon :-) and then I got round to a good old natter with Lucy from Sweet Poppy Stencils :-) Needless to say I didnt leave there empty handed I can't resist the amazing stencils!!! 

This tree caught my eye with a potential for some lovely Chistmas cards but this morning I have gone with an Autumnal colour way using Brushos and Luminarte pigments (I DOOOoooo wish the Mica would show up on photos!!) and I added stamps from Designs by Ryn (now avail in the UK through Oysterstamp) and Donna Downney.

Sweet Poppy Stencils and Creative Cardmaking.....

Evening all!!

Hope you are having a good week so far :-)

Sorry I been a bit awol this week got a few secret projects on I can't share just yet!!! Will be out of wraps soon I promise....

However the new issue of Creative Cardmaking is hitting the craft shops now and I was asked to i hope play with fabulous Sweet Poppy stencils for this one.
